A Refit is very comprehensive and therefore suitable for heavily used bikes whose systems are worn out and need lots of parts replacing. For this price we will set up and adjust all the systems on your bike. This includes: the set up of gears and brakes as necessary; truing the wheels and inflation of the tyres; cleaning the frame and wiping down the transmission and a relube; removal of the seatpost, pedals and handlebar stem and regreasing where necessary; checking for tightness all the key fastensings on the bike. During this process we will also replace all the key consumable, gear, brake and transmission parts where necessary. This is a great value package: if your bike is very well used, this will put it right.
Please note:
- This price is exclusive of parts.
- This service includes the fitting, where necessary, of all 'consumables': tyres, tubes, wheels, all control cables, brake pads, as well as any transmission parts (including bottom bracket, chainset /chainrings, chain, rear sprockets and freehub body).
- This service also includes cleaning: we will clean your frame and wheels and wipe down your transmission. We reserve the right however, to surcharge for the cleaning of excessively dirty bikes. For comprehensive cleaning, polishing and a transmission degrease, book your bike in for a 'Bike Valet' at £20 extra.
- This service does not include the overhaul of any internal assemblies on the bicycle such as hub gears, hub bearings and suspension forks.
