It is every cycle enthusiast's dream to have their own custom built bike. We can help you to realise the dream using a combination of a choice of framesets from our high end manufacturers (Condor, Surly and Genesis); our custom bike fit system from Bikefitting.com; and the skills of our senior technicians (all advanced CYTECH 3 accredited).
The Bikefit.
Our bikefitting system involves three main elements: ergonomic measurement and recording of the of the rider's body to match it to an ideal frame size; posture adjustment on our frame fitting jig and shoe cleat adjustment. The entire process takes about one hour and is free provided you buy your new bike from us.
Choosing your bike and components
We have a wide selection of framesets. If you are looking for something rough and tough then look at the offerings from Surly. If you're looking for value, then the Genesis framesets are hard to beat. For class, then check out the equisite finish on the Condors. Between these brands we can offer a full range of frame materials - including high end steel, aluminium, carbon fibre and titanium. We can offer you a choice of groupsets and wheelsets or the option to mix and match. The framesets that we offer are all set out below. Because we build the bike from the bottom up, we will already know the dimensions of much of the finishing kit - such as the bars and stem. It remains for you to choose the model. We always hold in a range of fairly generic, inexpensive, but noetheless attractive Condor components or you can go for something individually branded.
The Build
The build will be carried out only by our most experienced technicians. If the bike has drop bars we will invite you in for a test run before we do the final adjustments and finishing with the bar tape.
