The ever popular Scott Sportster bikes are great looking, purposeful machines designed to take the rough with the smooth. They have great frame clearance, a comfortable position and sporty looks. The larger 700c wheel size means it rolls well on the roads, while the semi off-road tyres allow you to ride bridleways and rough tracks with ease, making it a great all round option. The sportsters come in mens and ladies (step through) frames, with suspension forks. From the P3 model upwards, the bikes come in a mens frame and the new compact 'solution' frame for women, but also for men requiring a shorter reach and more standover frame clearence.
The new Urban kit is designed to fit on both the Sub and Sportster range. It consists of specific mudguards and a rack. The rack can be exchanged for the Scott MTX rear rack, that can be used with a range of luggage accessories.

The Scott Sportster P4 sits in the middle of the Sportster range with Mens and ladies (step through) frame options. The lightweight aluminium frame is complimented with a decent quality suspension fork and high quality shimano running gear. Rapidfire trigger shifters mean accurate gear changes and good quality Shimano wheels keep you rolling over most types of terrain.
With the addition of the urban kit, or other mudguards and rack, the P4 is good for short to medium commutes and light utility work, as well as forays onto light tracks and trails during leisure rides.
