Dahon

Dahon are the biggest manufacturer of folding bikes in the world. Good for them - their founder Dr Hon, realised the potential of small wheeled folders when they were languishing in the post seventies trough of uncool. Today they are fast, fun and functional and in an urban environment of stop/start riding the fast acceleration of a small wheel will give you a definate performance advantage. Dahon make plenty of bikes for other brands which are simply rebadged and although some of these are of budget quality, this is not the case with the bikes that they choose to put their own name on. Some Ridgeback folders are also made by Dahon and these too are superior.
